How it works:

1. Post your desired career move by providing the role and career information.
2. Your name, contact information, and graduation year will remain confidential with you and HBSA/NC.
3. If a Company/Recruiter "connect" with you, you will receive an email from HBSA/NC Career Mover with the Company/Recruiter contact information and details of the career role.
4. You may then contact the Company/Recruiter directly if you are interested, or reply via email "No, not interested at this time"

Important Notes:

• HBSA/NC Career Mover is a members-only service.
• Career Mover roles will be posted for 30 days. After 30 days, roles will need to be reposted.
• By posting a listing, you agree to the HBSA/NC Policies and Guidelines for HBSA/NC Career Mover.

HBS Alumni FAQs:

How is my personal information protected?
Your name/email/MBA graduation year will not be made available at any time to Companies/Recruiters. Company/Recruiter may connect with you only through the HBS Career Mover ID number assigned. HBSA/NC requires your personal information for administrative purposes only.

Why is HBSA/NC providing this service?
This is a club service that we designed to address the needs of our membership and complement the existing HBS Career Services, e.g., HBS Job Bank. We hope that this service will enable better career networking and growth.

Who are the Companies/Recruiters who will use HBSA/NC Career Mover?
Leading Companies/Recruiters in the Northern California area that have a current or past association with HBSA/NC and their colleagues "based on referral" may use HBSA/NC Career Mover.

Can I include my Linkedin Profile in the career experience area?
Yes. Remember, if you choose to include your Linkedin Profile in the Career Experience section of your posting, you will be exposing your personal contact information, so your posting will no longer be confidential. You are in control of this decision.

How long will my posting be listed?
All postings will be listed for 30 days. If you want to continue your listing, please submit a new posting.

Can I submit multiple postings?
Yes, but each member is limited to five postings.

What if I have any changes or want to delete my posting?
Please contact kirsten@hbsanc.org who will delete the posting so that you can resubmit. (Changes/edits are not supported at this time.)

Can my spouse/partner and other colleagues also use HBS Career Mover?
Only spouses/partners of HBSA/NC members can participate. This service is not open to anyone outside of the HBSA/NC membership, no exceptions.
